I'm making a carrot cake but made half the recipe. The time calls for 70 min at 350. How long will half take

Time for the full recipe is 70 min at 350 degrees. I am also using an 8 x 8 x 2 pan instead of a bundt cake pan. Will the cooking time and/or pan make a difference in how long this needs to stay in without overcooking? Bake about 45 mins...don't expect the same results cutting the recipe in half.Why didn't you make the whole recipe and share with friends?More then likely it will be to moist in the middle and doughy....
