Need recipe for cake made with raisins, consistency of cold cookie dough and needed refrigeration, tan color?

A friend of my mother's made this cake for us in the early 60's. It may have been a new recipe at the time or an old one as the lady cooked both. Was not a sheet cake, but looked like a layer cake, though no division between layers was visible. Silly, but are you thinking of a fruit cake? Check with FOODNETWORK.COM and type in cakes with raisins, they have quite a few. and the all sound very good....Carrot cake..??
