I am making a cake for an Easter themed party. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something fairly simple that everyone will love. Also looking for Easter cake decoration ideas. Pictures a plus.Cake Recipe?

This website shows how to make a rabbit cake from 2 round cake pans. You will use one of the cakes as the face and the other will be cut to form ears and a bowties. Cute idea.

The cake has cream cheese frosting which is always good.

You may need to freeze the cut cake pieces to get them to frost without too many crumbs forming.Cake Recipe?
Cake:

2 cups sugar

1 3/4 cups flour

3/4 cup cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup boiling water

Combine dry ingredients with mixer or rubber spatula until thorougly combined. Add all wet ingredients to dry except the boiling water. Once that is mixed, stir in the boiling water with a rubber spatula. Pour into two 9'; round or one 9x13x2 pyrex and bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes.

I've gotten many compliments.
Easy Chocolate Saucepan Brownies

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

3/4 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Heat oven to 325掳. Grease and flour an 8-inch square baking pan. In a saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and let cool. With a whisk, beat in the vanilla and sugar. Whisk in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir flour, measure into a small bowl, and stir in the baking powder and salt, blending well. With a wooden spoon, stir the flour mixture into the first mixture. Stir in the chopped nuts, blending well. Spoon into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake the brownies for about 25 minutes.
