Does anyone have a recipe for a goood eggless cake?

I need to feed 50 people but do not need only one cake. Several varieties would be ok.Does anyone have a recipe for a goood eggless cake?
I'll try to give you some variety for that many people.





CHOCOLATE EGGLESS CAKE





1-1/2 cup flour


1/3 cup cocoa powder


1 tsp baking soda


1/2 tsp salt


1 cup sugar


1/2 cup vegetable oil


1 cup cold water


2 tsp vanilla extract


2 tsp vinegar





Preheat oven to 375掳F.


Spray a small baking pan (8x12) with vegetable spray or Baker's Joy.





Combine dry ingredients directly in the pan. Mix all the wet ingredients





In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients leaving out the vinegar until the final step.





Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring together in pan until well combined. Stir in the vinegar rapidly and immediately place pan into preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 min.





Optional: You can stir in 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips just before baking to make a richer cake with melted chocolate bits or swirls.

WW II EGGLESS CAKE w/fruit.





1/2 c. butter


1 1/3 c. sugar


1 c. milk


2 level tsp. baking powder


1 c. currants or raisins any dried fruit


1/3 tsp. salt


1/2 tsp. mixed spices (cinnamon + nutmeg) Touch of alspice


Whatever is available.





Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy. Add milk, fruit and lastly, the flour, salt and baking powder and spices which have been sifted together, turn into greased pan and bake in slow oven about 1 hour. Was first made during the depression and then for world war II.

EGGLESS BANANA SPLIT CAKE





2 c. graham cracker crumbs


1 stick butter, melted


1/4 c. sugar





SECOND LAYER:





8 oz. cream cheese, softened


1 c. confectioners' sugar


1 tsp. vanilla


12 oz. Cool Whip





THIRD LAYER:





2 c. crushed pineapple, well drained


3 to 4 bananas





FOURTH LAYER:





Chocolate syrup


1 c. chopped nuts


Cherries





Mix crumbs, melted butter and sugar together and spread in 9x13 inch pan.


For second layer, whip cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread all but 2 cups of mixture, over top of first layer. Reserve the 2 cups for fourth layer.





For third layer, spread pineapple over top. Slice bananas and place on top of pineapple.





Cover that with reserved cream cheese mixture. Drizzle with chocolate syrup, sprinkle with nuts and place cherries 2 inches apart on top. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours.

EGGLESS APPLESAUCE CAKE





1 c. applesauce, unsweetened


1 tsp. soda


1 c. sugar


1/4 tsp. cinnamon


1/4 tsp. cloves


1/4 tsp. allspice


1 c. raisins


1 1/2 c. flour


1/2 c. butter





My family preferred it without any frosting.


Put applesauce in bowl, add soda, sugar and spices. Soften butter and add. Stir raisins and flour together and mix into applesauce mixture and pour into greased 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 hour or until it pulls away from sides of pan.

EGGLESS SUGARLESS CARROT CAKE





1/2 c. grated carrots


1 1/4 c. chopped dates or prunes


1 1/3 c. water


1 c. raisins


1/4 c. butter


1 tsp. each: cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg


1 tsp. baking powder


1 tsp. soda


1/4 tsp. salt


1/2 c. chopped nuts


2 tsp. Sweet Ten





Place carrots, dates, water, raisins, butter and spices in a saucepan. Bring slowly to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Meanwhile stir together dry ingredients, Sweet Ten and nuts. Add to cooled mixture. Stir until blended. Pour into a greased and floured 9 inch ring mold and bake at 375 degrees for 45-50 minutes. NOTE: A glass cake pan may be used. White Vegan Cake





Ingredients:





1-1/2 cups flour

Plain Eggless Cake

INGREDIENTS:


7-3/4 cups all-purpose flour


2 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder


1 tablespoon and 1/4 teaspoon baking soda


3 (14 ounce) cans sweetened condensed milk


3 cups and 2 tablespoons orange juice


2 tablespoons and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


3 cups and 2 tablespoons melted butter

DIRECTIONS:


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.


Sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda into a large bowl. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda. Make a well in the center and pour in the sweetened condensed milk, orange juice, vanilla and melted butter. Mix well and pour into prepared pan.


Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool.
