Experimenting with my cake recipe.?

I recently bought a packet of ready made cake mix (vanilla flavour) and it said on the box, that it contained 1 cup of vanilla pudding in the mix. What will happen if I add vanilla pudding to my own vanilla cake recipe and then bake it?Experimenting with my cake recipe.?
Hello... pleasure to meet you.

This is 'A PERFECT' recipe for a sponge cake.

Preheat oven to 180oC/350oF

Beat/whisk:

- 4 whole EGGS

- 1 large teaspoon VANILLA essence

- 125g CASTER SUGAR

With electric beaters, untill pale and creamy.

Sift together 60g of CORNFLOUR and SELF-RAISING FLOUR and gently (but gradually), FOLD into the creamy mixture (DO NOT overmix).

Devide the mix betwen 2 greased tins

Bake for about 20 mins or until a skewer comes out clean, when inserted in to the centre of each cake.

This recipe has bought me many compliments... I hope it does for you also? (Please DO NOT pass my recipe's on)

ENJOY!Experimenting with my cake recipe.?
It will probably turn out the same as the one in the box. Works well with chocolate too! I tried it already. Add 2 boxes of pudding and 4 eggs and you have pound cake to die for. Just cut back on the liquid. 1 cup water and 1/3 cup oil.
I've tried it (adding the pudding mix from box -- dump straight from pudding box into cake mix) and it works. For other ideas check out the book called ';Cake Mix Doctor.';
sounds like a good idea, i'd try it. another thing i need to try out still, is baking chocolate cereal (like coco pops) into a cake too
sure thats cool good luck
It will make for a better cake texture and better flavor. I always do that
