Chocolate Torte cake.
I use Bavarian cream %26amp; Raspberry for the fillings between layers.
My family has me make all of the birthday cakes.
If you do a torte, pipe a border around the layer (near the outter edge) you'll put the filling. This holds the filling in place without oozing out through the icing.What is the best cake and/or ice cream recipe you've tasted?
Passion fruit souffles
1 table
Castor sugar
2 egg yolks
80ml passion fruit pulp
i/2 cup icing sugar
4 egg whites
2 tablespoons Cointreau
2 teasp icing sugar mixed , extra
Preheat Moderate oven Lightly grease 1 250ml cup
ovenproof dish
sprinkle insides on dishes with Castor sugar sprinkle away the excess sugar
whisk yolks, passivity pulp, liqueur, and 2 tables icing sugar in a large bowl until all combined
beat egg whites in a small bowl with electric mixer until soft peaks form, gradually add reaming icing sugar beat until it forms a peak,
Gently fold egg mixture into 2 batches into passionfruit mixture divide mixture among the dishes(bowls)
bake uncovered in moderate oven for 12 mins
or until souffles are puffed and browned lightly
Dust tops with icing sugar
Serve immediately
Serve with fresh cream or ice cream.
Serves 4 people approx
