Does anybody have any good recipes for Cake? [10points?] :D?

It's my mother's birthday today, and I would like to bake her a cake to surprise her. I'm not very experienced at baking [probably because I am still young, haha.]

She doesn't like very sweet cakes,

She doesn't like vanilla or chocolate cake [well, not the sweet ones, anyway.]

She doesn't like cake with custard in the middle. [When you eat a slice of cake, that goup that is in between the cake, my mother doesn't like that.]

I'm looking for something semi-sweet that is not too difficult to make, and won't require more than 10 ingredients (:

We're Chinese, if that helps anybody w/ the tastebud thing. :lDoes anybody have any good recipes for Cake? [10points?] :D?

Hope this helps!
You'd be limited on cakes, so I'd suggest something savoury instead, perhaps with a Chinese twist to it.

I suspect you live in America, and though I am unaware of your culture within the country would suggest a combination pitsa utilising shrimp, tuna, beansprouts and beef amongst the tomato and cheese.

I'm English, though am curious about food.
