3/4 pound butter
6 cups flour, divided
5 eggs
2 tablespoons lemon extract
3/4 cup 7Up
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 
Combine butter and 3 cups flour. Add eggs, one at a time, followed by remaining flour and lemon extract. Fold in 7-Up. Pour into a well-greased bundt pan and bake for 1 hour. Let cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with strawberries and whipped cream.When I was young I ate a Green cake that was called 7up cake, anyone has a recipe for this cake?

Change to:  servings US Metric    
3/4  lb butter, softened  
3  cups sugar  
5  eggs  
3  cups flour  
2  tablespoons lemon extract  
3/4  cup 7-Up soda  
LEMON GLAZE 
2/3  cup powdered sugar  
1  tablespoon lemon juice  
Cream butter and sugar together for 20 minutes. 
Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. 
Add flour and lemon extract. 
Fold in 7-Up. 
Pour into well-greased 12-cup Bundt pan or tube pan. 
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 to 1 1/4 hours. 
Make Lemon Glaze- mix powdered sugar and lemon juice together. 
When cake is cooled, dribble with Lemon Glaze. 
You can add food coloring to make it green!

Watergate Cake
1 pkg. (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding %26amp; Pie Filling
1 cup 7 UP
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup chopped  Walnuts or pistachios
 
PREHEAT oven to 350掳F. Place cake mix, dry pudding mix, 7 UP, oil and eggs in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer on low speed just until moistened. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping side of bowl occasionally. Gently stir in walnuts.
POUR batter into greased and floured  9 x 12 pan or bunt cake pan.
BAKE 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove cake from pan; cool completely on wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar just before serving. or you can make t he following icing

                         (2 Envelopes)
1 1/2   c            Milk
3       oz           Pistachio Instant Pudding
                         (1 Package)
1/2   c              Coconut
 3/4   c            Chopped Nuts (Use walnuts or pisachios

7-UP CAKE
The soda pop classic.
1 1/2cups butter

Grease and flour a bundt pan. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time and beat well. Mix in extract, flour and 7-Up. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 1 to 1 1/2hours or until cake tests done. Allow cake to cool on rack for about 20 minutes before inverting. Allow cake to completely cool before placing on a cake dish.
Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not.  I found it by typing ';7-up cake'; in my search box.  Never eaten it.
My sister-in-law in TX makes a 7-Up pound cake that's yellow from the butter and egg yolks.  The recipe is from a cook book entitled ';Wild about Texas';.
Your cake was probably green due to added food coloring.  Maybe around St. Patrick's Day or Christmas?
I'm not taking the time to type out the recipe, because I don't think you were referring to a pound cake.  E-mail me if you want that recipe.
