How much ketchup goes in this recipe for german chocolate cake?

About 3/4 of a cup. I like to add 2 tablespoons of mustard, and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce. It makes it a lot sweeter. I have heard adding cat nip gives it a nice crunch too.

Well, you said THIS recipe and I can't see that recipe so there is no way for me to tell you what it says. I CAN tell you how much I put into mine though. When I make it from scratch I always add 4 tbsp. to the frosting before I add the coconut. Mix it in really good. Sometimes I mix in crushed red hots too. Good luck.

I would say about 1/3 cup. It actually works better if you use catsup though. If you want a bit of extra zing use some of the Worcestershire sauce you used for the chocolate chip cookies.
